Snack Box is an inclusive fitness and food craft session designed for children and young people aged 6 to 16, with a strong focus on SEND and those who face barriers to participation.
This session takes place on Monday 20th February and is part of our school holiday programme, which runs on Wednesdays during the school holidays.
Sessions combine gentle, adaptive boxing based movement with creative food craft activities, supporting physical health, confidence and life skills in a relaxed and supportive environment.
Each session begins with accessible movement activities tailored to individual needs and abilities, followed by a hands on food craft session exploring simple snacks, fresh ingredients and basic nutrition. Small group delivery ensures participants feel safe, supported and able to take part at their own pace.
This session is fully funded by Variety the Children’s Charity, allowing children and families to attend free of charge.

Snack Box Women’s Programme
Snack Box Women’s is an inclusive fitness, wellbeing and food craft programme designed to support women’s physical health, mental wellbeing, confidence and social connection.
We have delivered multiple women’s programmes and continue to see strong engagement and demand. Women consistently tell us they value having a safe, welcoming space that combines gentle, accessible movement with practical life skills and time to connect with others. Many participants experience barriers to accessing traditional fitness or wellbeing services, including health conditions, caring responsibilities, trauma, financial pressure or low confidence.
Each programme combines adaptive boxing based movement with food craft and wellbeing activities. Sessions support strength, mobility and stress release, alongside practical tools such as low budget recipes, healthier food choices and everyday wellbeing strategies that can be used at home. Just as importantly, the programme creates space for conversation, peer support and building confidence over time.
Due to the continued success of our women’s programmes and clear demand from the community, new women’s classes will be launching in summer 2026 in Rotherham. These sessions will build on what works, offering consistent, inclusive support designed around the real lives of women.
